Welcome aboard the Brooklyn VI, where fishing is our business. The Brooklyn VI offers a high standard of fishing and service since 1970 when being established in Sheepshead Bay and owned by the Sapanara family. Second generation Captain Robert Sapanara JR. has been running the vessel for 23 years.

The Brooklyn VI is a modern super fast 110' long 26' wide super cruiser, it is one of new yorks largest fishing boats ,witch is powered by 3 1292 turbo Detroit Deisel engines which allows the Brooklyn VI to exceed speeds up to 24 knots. The Brooklyn VI can accommodate up to 150 passengers and can fish up to 120 passengers. Its spacious cabin can seat 100+ passengers and is air conditioned for those hot summer days as well as heat for those frigid winter days. The Brooklyn VI has all the latest electronics (4 VHF radios,2 Furono fish finders, 2 North Star GPS, 2 Lorans and 2 Furono radars) for navigation and to locate fish. We also have 2 restrooms on board with fresh running water.

While on board the Brooklyn VI, for a full day or night fishing trip, you may bring your own tackle or rent one of our brand new rods and reels(2007). We are one of the only boats that carries and assortment of bait and tackle and plenty of it so we will never run out. The reason for carrying an assortment of bait (Butterfish, Herring, Mackerel and Sardines) is because some days the fish prefer one type of bait over another. The crew will cut and hand out the bait prior to arrival to the fishing grounds.During your fishing trip if you have any questions feel free to ask one of our experienced crew members, the crew will be walking around the entire trip to lend a hand. After a full day of action packed fishing enjoy your ride back to the dock on our spacious upper deck with a nice ocean breeze or just go inside our air conditioned cabin and get a snack and a drink and enjoy some T.V.
